Angela Fowler-Hurtado is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice in Washington DC where she works with adults, couples and families. Prior to her work in private practice, she worked with a teen parent program, a family counseling center, and a group home for adolescent males in Washington DC.
In her clinical work Angela focuses on healing from trauma and on improving relationships. Angela obtained her BS from the University of Rhode Island and her MSW from the Catholic University of America in Washington DC. She is passionate about helping to create positive change and believes that the best way to help young people is to build the knowledge and resources of the parents, teachers, social workers, mentors and coaches in their lives.
