LaRon Martin is a seasoned, enthusiastic, and passionate educator that is dedicated to improving student growth by increasing teacher capacity. LaRon brings over 14 years of experience in education with a background as a school leader in public, charter, and private school settings serving grades PK3-12, with a specialty for supporting students with emotional and behavioral disabilities.
LaRon currently serves as the Principal of The Children’s Guild Baltimore Campus, where he is responsible for the academic and social-emotional growth for students with severe emotional disabilities. His career includes experience as a classroom teacher, child find specialist, an instructional coach, assistant principal, school turnaround special education coordinator, as well as district office administrator.
LaRon is a graduate of Johns Hopkins University with a Master of Science in Special Education and as well as in School Administration and Supervision with a focus on Instructional Technology. He also has a Bachelor of Arts in sociology from Bowling Green State University.
LaRon is an avid reader (especially Harry Potter) and movie watcher.
